Got a free HF tape measure 25 ft x 1" the other day.
Just looking at it, there's some small diamond markings toward the edge. Locations:
19-7/32 inches
38-13/32
57-19/32
76-25/32
96
115-7/32
etc.
what is 1/5th of 8 feet? (besides 1.6 feet, or 19-13/64th?
Can't find it in Google. its not metric obviously because its evenly divisible into 8 feet. Something to do with plywood, sheetrock or wall board (which is 4 ft and 8 ft. dimensioned)?
Not stud locations (16 inches)?
Not a bad tape measure, BTW. Esp. for the price.
