    Dang, ROS pad just disintegrated

The foam connecting the rotating plate to the hook and loop pad just disintegrated on my DW423 sander. The foam became a gooey, sticky mess. I guess its too old.

Dang, I was on the home stretch for this quickie Xmas project. I ordered parts to fix it sent by Priority Mail but looks like after Christmas.

I have some other sanders but they are not as nice. I hope they're OK.

Any good tool company should have replacement pads in stock.

I have had a DeWalt and a PC do the same. Both were about 10 - 11 years old at the time.

Even HD should be able to help you out.

Yep, same thing happened to my PC ROS a few years ago. HD had a replacement for about $10.
