HF Central Machinery Drill Press Model 844

Does anyone have one of these OLD CM 5-speed drill presses?
    I need a replacement for the v-belt but can't find a part number/vendor.
HF customer support has been unable to help.

If you have the old best and it is simply broken take it to an auto parts store, if not then measure with a piece of 3/8" rope. Take the rope to the same store. They should be able to use their belt measuring device to find one close enough.

I agree with black wallnut. THose V-bets are virtually the same as automotive belts. Bring the pieces to an auto parts store.
Length usually not all that critical as the motor housing usually moves some in a two-pulley DP to take up slack.

I use link belts on my 16.5" HF drill press and 14" HF band saw. No vibration from v-belts that have aquired a set in them. Adjustable to any length. A package of one belt is long enough to make two drill press belts.
