Hf 12 scms

My 1958 Rockwell Super 900 died last night in the middle of a project. I'm hoping to it's just a re-wiring job, but it the motor may be kaput.

Can anyone point me to a HF 12 SCMS coupon? The HF website has a price of $189, but I know I've seen better prices on coupons.

The 12 saw seems to get good reviews and is probably safer than the ol' 900.

I could use one, but it seems like the 12" SCMS goes on sale frequently at $119 - $129. Bing searches led me to a $119 coupon, but it expired on 10/30.

I was hoping someone had seen a coupon in a woodworking magazine. For the savings, I'd be a happy to go out and buy a copy.

I have the coupon for it at $123.99 (expires 12/6/2013). It's in the Family Handyman Sept 2013 issue. I could scan it and PM it to you if you like. Otherwise, you can always pick up the issue.

Really? A $124 coupon? Where have I been, that I've never seen such a large coupon yet ? I could have used something like that myself! I've only used the regular 15% ones...

I think you misunderstood me (or maybe I misunderstood you). The coupon sets the price of the saw as $123.99.

Oh, ok. That makes a bit more sense !

But still, $124 for a $190 list price works out to a 35% discount. Pretty impressive, I daresay. I gotta look up this Family Handyman now.

The HF Double-Bevel 12" SCMS is on sale Nov 29-Dec 1 for $127.99. (Not quite as low as the Family Handyman ad.) 20% coupon drops the price to $102.39. Don't know if the coupon can be used on "Black Friday" items.
