    Tool gloat

Stuff like this never happens to me.

My co-worker said his Husky electric power washer died and asked me if I wanted the dead unit to see if I could revive it. Sure. Got it home, connected the garden hose, and plugged it in. I was expecting nothing to happen but when I pulled the trigger, I got a full jet of water!

I told him about it this morning and he just shrugged his shoulders. I think his GFCI tripped or something, and he didn't push the button on the plug to reset it. He's had it for several years so he must have tried it. He'd already bought a replacement so he said enjoy.

Came at a good time, too, because I need to clean my fence before painting.

That's a good score even for twice the price.

Nice score. I had that Husky washer, but it walked out of my garage.

I was starting to get frustrated with it anyways. The revolving ball sprayer would always jamb up.

I have a B&D similar to that unit. I like how the electrics are a LOT quieter than the gassers. My neighbor across the street has a gas model Husky that woke me up last Saturday morning... He was pressure washing his brick. Good thing too, it was looking nasty.

Sadly you reminded me. I need to do my driveway, walks, and sidewalk...

FWIW, do NOT try to pressure was hardboard siding.

Doh! That was what I was practicing on! OK, bad Paul. It's the recalled Masonite stuff, too. We missed out on the deal by a year when we bought the house.

Have that exact unit right now .... it's done me well over the past few years that I've had it.

BUT ... as with nearly all my tools ... the opportunity to upgrade has come along and I found this unit ......

which I found brand new for $199.60 and awaiting arrival
