    hot melt glue applicator/gun

my hot melt glue gun recently broke. I'll have to replace it.

There's a whole slew of cheap ones in Amazon.

Anyone know of a good quality gun that's better than the $10-17 ones you see all over? I'm looking for one with better temperature control and better feed control and overall higher quality but not too expensive.

I had good luck with the older one I have from Arrow - so might be tempted to try this one out if I needed a new one.

This place specializes in that stuff, and has a wide range of guns, pricewise.

Would you care for Used? I have a craftsman electric glue gun I really have no use for. Model 980510. It is an older one. I'll even let you have it for $5 plus whatever ground shipping would be. It was used when I got it. Looks like it's in great condition. I picked it up from the last place I worked when they went bankrupt. Heck I'll even pack it in an Amazon box.

Haven't used it yet though. Seems as good as the Stanley it is replacing.

If you want one a bit more heavy duty, check out this one.

It does have a heavy duty price though.
The little Stanley I am replacing has ran all day every day for about 5 years I think. It is just starting to get erratic with the heating.

Dual temp guns are all I will use.
I mostly use low temp, but there are times when you need high temp.

I've been using the same two different size Arrows for years, and don't have any complaints. I've tried ones with heat range control, and I find that option pretty useless. Either the glue melts or it doesn't.
