Harbor Freight nail gun updates....

Something I have noted recently, the HF nail guns have been changing over the last few months. Gone are the loud colored paint jobs of purple, orange, and purle-ish blue, in is a silver color with red trim accent. The packaging of the guns in store seems to have been much improved as well, along the lines of what you would expect from say Bostich or another name brand seller. And the price tags have crept up somewhat.

I already own the previous models of most of the nailers I could want except perhaps for the roofing nailer. (still need to build that shed!). So I am not asking for me, but I am wondering, has anyone here laid hands on one of these newer guns to compare to the old models? The old ones worked pretty well, and I was just wondering if the new ones were up to snuff....

No experience with any of the new nailers but HF does that kind of stuff all the time. Many, and I do mean many, of the HF products that I have bought over the years cannot be called up using the PN I purchased it under. They still have the same stuff in the store and on the website but with a different PN. Only guessing here but it wouldn't surprise me if they just change the PN everytime they change the manufacturer.
