I found some 25% ammonia on the internet. A place called "Maker Shed." They're shipping one cup which is the limit you can buy at one time. It only costs $4.50, but shipping is $16.27. It should be here sometime next week and I'll give it another go.

Heat will help. I would think that your plastic tent would build heat, however switching to black plastic on top and three sides would even be better IMHO.

I remember working in a printing plant that had blue print machines. When I started there I was told that if anyone ever yelled 'ammonia spill' that I should hold my breath and run like he|| for the exit. Also anyone caught yelling that when there was not a spill was told they would be fired on the spot.

Our Architectural firm had a Diazit bluelne machine with an ammonia Arrestor filter. As long as they kept fresh filters in it wasn't too bad. We hardly ever had fresh (expensive) filters. It got to the point that I would refuse to make copies in the little print room and I would also leave if they had to run a bunch and stink up the whole office. It used gallon jugs of ammonia, there was a little pump inside the machine that bubbled air up from the bottom of the jug on the floor and another hose that flooded the chamber with gas.

I don't know if I still have a gallon of that ammonia out in my garage or not.
