Can you have too many routers? (Caution: gloat ahead)

    I don't think so.

Picked this puppy up off CL today for $60. It even includes an extra 1/2" collet. It has been used twice:

Added this for $10 (1/4" cable):

Usually I don't bother with CL listings that don't state a price, but the Bosch 1617 caught my eye and I took a flyer. Good thing!

I recommend you throw the cable come-along away and still be more than satisfied on the gloatworthiness of the $60 Bosch. Cable come-alongs can become very dangerous for a litany of reasons. We use come-alongs alot here and had banned them decades ago.

And that doesn't diminish the suckworthiness of you stealing the Bosch!

Er, Chris, you ain't gonna like that

Bosch 1617. They aren't any good at all. I'll be happy to take that set off your hands so you won't have waisted space in your shop. I'll even pay for the shipping so you don't feel too bad! You really do have a gloat and yes that sucks....

Can you have too many routers?

according to the poll here a few years back, the average BT3central respondent has 2.65 routers.

Most of them are not as nice as yours. Congrats on your luck.

Gee Chris, you have certainly brought about a lot of abuse on yourself. If you pack the router up and send it to me, everyone else will leave you alone.

                          Nice score by the way.
