well i am in the market for the 1590 model (top handle) and was wondering what is the best price that you have seen it go for and around what time?

need to save as much as possible given that job search isnt going the greatest....

$130 for a reconditioned one at Amazon. Otherwise, the NIB ones usually go for around $150 and up.

I see almost one a week in CL in the $75 price range. Sometimes they're 1587 sometimes 1590.

If you can't find it there try Sears Outlet.

Just curious - why not a barrel-grip?

I hope that you are able to get a screaming deal on a 1590, but am curious. Why you are going with a top-handle rather than the 1591 barrel-grip?

I don't own one, but based on the comments I've seen here and on Amazon it sounds like people *love* the 1591.

chris, i primarily based my decision on the discussions that i saw here on the board only. left handers hate the barrel. i am right handed, so that wasnt the reason. a lot of people here seem to perfer the top handle, so that is why i was ready to go with it.

well it seems like amazon has it for 146.xx, i have a 40 off right now. i opened an account and the discount was never given to me, so this should cost 106.xx . this should be better than getting a barely used for 75, because i know its new and never been dropped or banged.....
