    Best benchtop jointer

OK, OK, I guess I give up on having a collective information to help me if I purchase a benchtop jointer. You get recommendation from FWW or other pubs on tablesaws (JET Hybrid), portable planers (DeW 735), mitre saws (Bosch) etc., but why are there no such confident reviews [that i can find anyway] on mid size benchtop jointers?
I want a 6 inch jointer that is at least as functional and serviceable as my DeW 735 planer. ANy recommendations?

Check out this thread for a recent discussion of bench top jointers:
This forum is for discussions about any and all power tools. Whether you are looking to buy a new tool or you have a question about the usage of a tool, this is the place to be!

You can also find full size jointers on craigslist once in a while for benchtop price if that is an option.
If you can read this you assembled wrong.

apparently the Delta JT-160 is now bearing a porter cable label and number, seen at the local lowes.
