    wtb metric drill bits

which is a good source for a set of metric drill bits for future use.

the last time i had to install shelf support pins, the hole i drilled with a imperial set was not perfectly snug. i think i was looking for a 5mm drill bit.

They make both metric and standard bits and pins. You just have to make sure you're using the same measurement on both the bits and the pins. They look pretty close between the 1/4" and the 5 (or 6?) mm.

I just got a 7 piece set of new brad points from Woodcraft, 4,5,6,7,8,10 and 12 mm. Made in Germany, branded as colt and/or twinland. Haven't used them yet, but they just have a real quality look to them.
$19.99 and free shipping with code 11525 till Monday the 25th.
