I've decided to replace the cells in one of my old Craftsman 14.4 batteries. The current cells are 1300 mah. Will I have any charger issues if I upgrade to a 1800 or 2000 mah cell?

I had no problem when I had the cells in my 12 volt Craftsman Pro batteries upgraded to 1500mAh (milliAmp hours) from 1200. I went to Batteries Plus they did that no extra charge. My charger has no problems with them. I had them both rebuilt for $54. That was less than half the price of two new batteries if I could find them. They seem to have dropped off the production list and no stores carry them now. I would also recommend letting a pro do your battery rebuild for you unless your confident you won't destroy them in the process.Last edited by sparkeyjames; 12-21-2009, 08:59 PM. -

If your only tool is a hammer, you tend to treat all problems as if they were nails.
