I saw that one last night browsing thru my Lee Valley catalog. I think I will buy one to give to my son, he drives a beer truck for a living ( A father's dream job).
I know Lee Valley has good stuff but that thing looks like a roundover knuckle buster on its way to happening. I wouldn't want to try and loosen any really tight nut with it. Used as they describe it, it would probably be OK but who does that?

Yeah, the description sounds sort of dodgy. And I certainly wouldn't want to use it to remove any rusted-on bolts. Just wondered if it had any utility at all beyond holding the nut while cinching up the bolt.
I can't believe you can do any serious wrenching with that. It will be much more effective than holding the nut with your hand, but much less so than a proper wrench.
I don't think they're telling you to throw out your wrench set, just that it's a good one piece solution thar you can carry in your pocket for emergencies etc. It's relatively small and thin, thin being something I find I need and don't have all too often.
For that purpose, it looks pretty good to me.
You don't need a parachute to skydive, you only need a parachute to skydive twice.
