    The granite top saws looks sexy , but for me a steel top haves more advantages.
    I have a few jigs with magwitchs that I could not use with granite

            I was very interested in this saw when they first started showing up in various forums so I started following the thread on them at ridgid.com and it seemed that Ridgid/Steel City/Orion didn't have the saw ready for prime time so I bought something else

                It's in the latest flier at $899.99 The online at Sears is void of info. No mention of 110/220, Hp rating, etc.

                        IDK, for the money, shouldn't I want more horsepower? This unit is listed at 1.75 HP 15A on 110v. I might be out of touch with prices, but I would think one should be able to get more power than that for nearly 1k with tax and all.
