I Picked Up the HF Multitool Today

Sorry. I picked up the "Multi-function" Tool today. It was on sale for 39.99 + a 20% off coupon or I could get it for 29.99 without the coupon. The 29.99 was cheaper by about 3 bucks so I picked that option. I actually went in there to get some clamps for somebody else but walked out with it.

Just remember to wear ear protection. Almost as noisy as my thickness planer.

I tried to do the same thing the other day at my "local" HF (60 miles). But they were out of stock. So someone has been buying them. I wish I had called first.

But I also was there for clamps (for myself) and I did walk out with those and a 4.5" grinder ($16 after coupon). So it wasn't a total waste.

I bought the tool as a prelude to the Fein. It works so good I'll wait for it to die. Then I'll decide to either replace it or get a Fein. It takes quite a few HF ones to total up to one Fein.

You ain't a'kiddin... If I hadn't stumbled onto an apparently unused Fein at an estate sale, I'd no doubt be using an HF.

You know, Tool Shop is the only brand that I'd reccomend LESS than a HF brand!

How did you get it for $29.99 without a coupon? They're about $40.00 at my local HF without any coupons. Thanks.

I tried using the coupon with the ad but wasn't allowed.

used my HF tool again. This time, It was instrumental in romoving a door jam in an old house, and cutting out copper pipe quickly.

I live this thing... Only problem I'm having, is the nut coming loose. I wish I had gotten one of the models with the pins...
