    Miter Box for a hacksaw?

I've been looking for a miter box to utilize a hacksaw in order to make straight 90 degree cuts on small pieces of brass and aluminum stock. The kerf on the miter boxes designed to cut wood is to wide for the thin hacksaw blade.
Is there a miter box dedicated for a hacksaw? Thanks.

If you can't find any, then build one out of wood, and cut the openings yourself. Another thought is to use a small square to use as your reference and guide to cutting the material straight. HTH

Try your local hobby shop. I remember that Exacto used to offer an aluminum miter box for use with its tiny saw. Approx dimensions 6" long, 2" high, 3" deep. Don't know if it is still in distribution or if it is too small for your needs.

When I was doing architectural models I used an X-acto aluminum miter box & backsaw. The bottom of the box has different sized grooves for material, and a bench hook type device to hold the box in place.
Very thin kerf on the backsaw too.

seems very easy to make one of wood, cut the slots with a japanese pull saw or miter saw.

enlarge the slots using the hacksaw blade itself.
