Looks like a 6" resaw; how does that compare with other 14"-ers ? I don't think this would take a riser, would it?

Looks like the typical knock-off of the Delta castings. So you should be able to use standard riser block to extend it, if you need more than 6" of resaw.

Agreed, looks very similar to my Central Machinery. The wildcard will be extending the guide assembly, as that looks a little different from mine, although it's hard to tell in the pic. For $50 should be a no-brainer, as long as it's basically working.

I think standard 14" bandsaw has about 7" resaw capacity. I have an old 12" Craftsman and it has 6" resaw.

Vaking, C style bandsaws are typically 6" with a riser option to go to 12". Euro style bandsaws (steel, single piece, no riser) often have more height.

That looks like a different paint color on the standard 14" knock off band saw like the one sold by Harbor Freight, Ridgid, and countless others...

Yes, I passed on it, based on all the feedback above (thanks everybody).

I do need a working bandsaw, and $50 is a nice price, but I am not ready (or competent) to spend time nursing it to full functionality and precision. I'll wait.
