I figured that as the outer appearance is the same.. the egronomics appear the same.. the blower vents appear the same.. both long cords... speeds... everything matches up but that type dust adaptor really is the "tell". I have seen only one design so far that has that and that is Ridgid which is TTI. The design originally came from Metabo I believe but our little friends at TTI in China did a remarkable job of copy when the 6" sander source was moved over there. And now Milwaukee using that type.

2 + 2 = 4 just about every time..

Thanks for the info Tom.. as the main difference is paint scheme and the Ridgid warranty vs the Milwaukee 5 Year. Frankly... if you call Ridgid tech support any more.. I know more about their machines than they do. I won't mention about the two simple (should be but very complicated matter) belts for my Ridgid DP.

Milwaukee gets the call on my part as I have a service center here in Atlanta about 14 miles from my front door. And the guys inside that glass door do have a clue.. imagine that.

Bought a Bosch

I finally bought the Bosch 20VS (good price from Amazon) and like it a lot. The dust catcher is excellent, hardly any residual and then only the very, very fine stuff. I also have the Bosch saber saw, which is the best one I've ever owned. So far their products are worth the price.
