    I didn't see any 18" on www.grizzly.com;

    The price sure seems right!

        Yep, I've seen those around. They are nice, 18" cast-iron saws. They don't have has much resaw height as many of the steel-frame saws of today. But if I had room for one and could lift it, I would be all over a $100 18" cast-iron saw.

        There was a pricing discussion about a used one on Sawmillcreek a couple of months ago. I think they originally sold for approx. $500, and the suggestion was they are still worth at least $300. I'd be very happy to own one at $300, quite frankly.

        But they ARE heavy.

          Not as nice as a steel frame saw, but an 18" cast iron band saw by grizz is probably a steal at that price, looks well cared for, or at least stored. Apparently an older, discontinued model.

              I have called and put in dibs, but looks like I am second on the list, as somebody was quicker on the draw. He did say he'd call back if that did not pan out, but dunno why anybody'd pass on this .

              But no hurry for me - can wait !
