On the newer Bostich 150psi pancake compressors (model CAP2000), do any of y'all know if there's an adjustment for the pressure switch (not the regulator)? Mine cuts in at 120psi, which seems about right, but cuts out around 142 which seems a bit low. Not that I'm going to use much 150psi air, but it would cycle less often or blow up a few more tires in off-cord mode.

I hesitate to tell someone how to do this because of the bad things that could happen, so proceed at your own risk and do not attempt this if you do not feel confident in your abilities!!!
If you take off the plastic cover that surrounds the on/off switch on your compressor there should be two screws for adjusting the pressures. Adjust them slowly, a small turn can make a big difference. Give it a quarter turn and then bleed it off through the tank dump valve until it comes on, close it off and see how much it changed. Mine was not labeled so I had to just find out which screw did what. Once again, be VERY careful!!"A fine beer may be judged with just one sip, but it is better to be thoroughly sure" -
i think if they set it at 142 initially its probably because thetank is rated for 150 or something like that. usually in that case the output is only meant to be as high as 120PSI and this diffrence is supposed to keep it from cycling too much.
I would not increase the tank pressure upper limit...
