    Anyone know anything about this saw? Looks like a contractor style table saw with cast iron top, induction motor, etc.

    I don't see why not. It may be as small as 8".

        Heck yeah, if you need a TS... If you don't, you could probably clean it up and resell at a profit.

            I doubt it's an 8 incher. That looks like a 1980s vintage craftsman contractors saw. I'd pick it up, even not working it's worth $15.00 in scrap metal alone...

                  I LOVE the name on that "Safety" saw. LOL

                  I'd really like to know what the heck they used as reasoning for putting safety in the name of it. I suppose that maybe it originally had a blade and belt guard of some sort, but as it now sits, it is pretty funny. Hard to imagine why the "Safe Tool MFG Co" is no longer in business...
