    Powermatic cust service is the best

    I had a couple of minor issues with my PM bandsaw the opther week. First there was this little plastic insert in the fence clamping mechanism that came unstuck and fell out. Then the Miter gauge handle broke.

    I emailed PM customer service and had a reply within 24hrs. I sent my serial number etc and today the parts arrived. They didnt just send me a replacement handle but a whole new miter gauge. Admitedly it isnt the best MG in the world but now I have a spare (minus handle).

    No hassle, no argument and more than I expected - GREAT!

    Not to sound too cynical, but for the price of PM tools, I'd hope they'd have that kind of CS. But it's nice to hear that somebody still cares about their customers.

      Similarly, and at a MUCH lower price point, Customer Service for MLCS has always been spot on for me. Honestly if MLCS can have good CS for what they charge, Powermatic darned well better...
