Woodcraft 170 pc drill bit set for $30.00

Just purchased this set from Woodcraft in Seattle yesterday the 14th.

It comes in a metal box, foamed lined. It appears to be fine quality bits, I have yet to use them.

I actually haven't broken or lost many drill bits for years from any of my sets. I think there was one 3/32 bit I broke a few years back.. Been sharpening my regular twist bits with Drill Doctor and the Brad point bits... well in wood they don't dull all that fast.

Still, maybe this is a cheaper/easier than drill doctor solution...

they show both types, the regular and brad point bits for $30. however, the pcicture show the same bits, the brad ones are suppose to have a tip on the ends, correct?

I too splurged and picked them up as all my sets are general contracting type and most have broken/dull bits. I got the brad bits and they are well packed, look sharp, but I too haven't had a chance to use yet. They are in increments of 1/64".

I bought a set of the brad points as I don't think they are easy to sharpen.
