How Sweet It Is

I fired up the new DW746 today for the first time. All I did was cut a few 2X4s for the work bench but WOW what a saw. Very quiet compared to my old BT3 and everything works as smooth as silk.
I'll post more comments after I have really used it.

gotta love the feeling you get when using a new tool in the shop for the first (few) time(s),..kinda like "welcome to the family"
at least when it arrives undamaged and works 100% LOL... otherwise it may get that redheaded step-child treatent :-D

Funny thing about a new tool that works oh so well, you find excuses to use it... I spent a good amount of quality time after work today with my Hitachi KM12VC on its plunge base cutting dovetails in scrap lumber just because I could. (and I wanted to set up the DT templates on some newly cut mounting blocks, now I just need to grab some T track, bolts, knobs, hold downs to complete the dovetailing setup...
