    MLCS Woodworking responding to customer requests!

    MLCS Woodworking has been offering the #1702 Mitered Door Frame Router Bit Kit featuring the #8781 A profile bit, and I was interested in a different profile. They were not offering any other profiles with this kit (including slot cutters, etc..). I asked about the possibility of swapping bits for same price bits, and suggested that they offer the kit with different profiles.

    I am absolutely beside myself with the knowledge that this company is that responsive to customer requests.

    I will certainly be ordering mine, with the profile I want, this payday.

    I have done business with MLCS in the past, and have never had anything but excellent service from these folks. It is so refreshing in this day & age to find a company that is as customer focused as MLCS...

    And no I do not work for them...

      Now that's impressive! I ordered the original profile kit about four months ago. I used it only once just to see how it work and was pretty pleased. I do plan to purchase a wider profile bit, probably 8784, in the near further. I too have been extremely satisfied with their customer service.

          Thanks for the info. It's always good to know how others feel about giving their business to online vendors. I'll be letting you know how my purchase went from ToolBarn.com when I receive my order.

                  Huh, I guess I'm the odd man out. I like the profiles, but not really into the biscuit solution. I think I'd rather use a through spline, or mortise and loose tenon. Makes the glue up easier, I think. The video is very nice though, some useful information there.

                      I've always had good service from MCLS. Quick, accurate delivery on what ordered. It's a pleasure to do business with companies like them. Same with Holbren.

                          My experience with MLCS is also favorable. I suggested they offer a bearing set to go with their new stackable slot cutter set and responded with an accessory bearing kit.
