Can anyone here recommend a good sharpening service in or around Austin, TX? I've got a couple carbide tablesaw blades that need some help. Thanks!

If they're good blades then you might consider packing them up and sending them to Forrest for sharpeneing, they do a prettyy good job.

If they are so-so blades and you don't want to send them out, most hardware stores like Ace and Lowes and Sears Hardware take them in and gives them to a guy that comes around once a week - they'll bring it back the next week same day so if you time it right it'll take 8 days, up to 14 days if not. call and check the hardware stores, but thats the way its done in Houston. I think one shop does most of them... they have the same price list with the hardware store name on it.

Cook's in San marcos is probably the best known. Weatherford Tools on Shelby Lane handles drop off for them.Don, aka Pappy,
