The Milwaukee was in clearance at my local Sears as well. I think it was around $99. It was very tempting though I just recently sold my Bosch 1617 set to get the Festool OF 1400EQ... absolutely complete dust collection, picked up all the MDF cutting circles with a Jasper jig. The excellent dust collection is the main reason I went for the Festool.

That is is a good combo kit at a great price. I have Dewalt, PC, Bosch. Makita and Milwaukee routers and there is not any difference to me in the quality of any of them. Like Sarge said after I put the 3 1/2 HP Milwaukee in my router table I fell in love with it and then bought the Milwaukee D-handleI found the DeWalt 3 combo base kit at HD on closeout. It was $199 for all three bases (fixed, D-ring and plunge) with a 2 1/4 HP motor. I really liked the Milwaukee body grip router, but the DeWalt looked like a better deal. Thanks for all the advice. I wouldn't have bought the combo kit without your advice.
and as soon as I get a great buy on the Milwaukee plunge set I am going to sell off some of my other routers.Comment
