    miter gauge

Does anyone know if this is worth $30?
I have recently purchased an accessory kit so I now have the miter slot attachment for my BT3100. Also, I assume it will fit the slot!
    Thanks.

Why doesn't the word 'planing' show up in my computer spell check?

If the bar is a hair less than 3/4" wide which is pretty much a standard size for miter gauge slots on table saws it should fit.
I like the pistol grip on that miter gauge.

      Yes, it'll fit the MST

I have one and like it for the most part, the biggest thing that irritates me is adjusting the nuts on the rod for the hold-down. I can't gripe tho, I think I paid $5 for mine out of a box at the local used tool guy.

I do wish mine had the stop rods tho' ... may have to make some of those
If it ain't broke.. don't fix it!!!... but you can always 'hop it up'

        miter gauge

That one should fit the MST on you BT saw with no problem, most after market gauges will work on the BT. Don't know for sure, but that miter gauge
looks a lot like one I saw a while back on a Shopsmith machine, that tilting
saw table really could benefit from a miter gauge like that one, a tilting
table instead of a tilting arbor really scares me! eezlock

Looks like a copy and paste from a sears on-line catalog item.
          And a sears part number.
But it's not a current item at sears that I can find...

Looks more like a Rockler layout to me

              It's Rockler.

More pictures of it "in action" can be found here by clicking on the "more images" wording next to the main picture.

BTW, it's now coming up at $44.
