Has anyone here had a problem finding the right hose to connect their router or ROS to a shop vac? I did, and I finally found the right one. It is a Bosch VAC001, and it hooks directly to the plunge base of my Dewalt 616 router and my Porter-Cable RAS with no additional connectors needed, it also hooks
directly into the hose connector on my Ridgid shop vac.
Another good point is it will works with any shop vac that has a 2 1/4" inlet connector. The hose is very light in weight, 15' long and not heavy and binding and awkward to use like a regular shop vac hose normally is.
Sure makes the job of sanding and routing a lot easier to do when you don't have to fight the hose all the time.If you need one check these hoses out , it may be what you need, thought I'd pass this info. along to all who have the same problem as I did. eezlock
