I bought one of the HF angle finders as well. It does not have the low cost look or feel that many HF products have. Definitely a bargin at $19.99. Coupon expires tomorrow (5/13)!!!!!

Compared it (HF Model) to the Starret that I have and they both read 90 and 45, no difference. I used the Starret (had it first) to set all my fences. As you may know the Starret is marked every degree, anything in-between is a guess. I will be using the digital alot.

I bought the HF version of this when it was on sale for $25.

        http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=94694

When I checked it at work on our granite plate it gave 180.3° wide open and 90.1° on a square fixture.
So I took it back and the new one is 179.9° and 90.0°
That’s closer than I can read the scale on my Mitutoyo combination so I guess it’s a keeper. I have a wild thought if it comes up on sale again (As if I need another shop improvement project) picking one up and cannibalizing it to mount inside my BT3100 within and external lead to the display.

BTW I soon will be doing my 2 year late review of the Homier 13” planer and 8” jointer since they are at last in service in the shop. And later a thing on how to mount the Ryobi OSS under a workbench, minus the case and table to save space.

I think history would have been very much different if Leonardi DiVinci had a belt sander.
