Thanks Ed. I was reading "( 2 x center-center distance between wheels)" as 2x center (minus) center distance between wheels. Just didn't make sense and once I got on that track couldn't find my way out. Got it now.
Did the measurement and found I do need 93.5" blades so got the tape and measured the blade that had been on the saw. It measured 94"+. Easy to see why the wheel was rubbing. Found a proper blade, installed, turned it on, after a few seconds the drive belt came off. Have been using a hf link belt that appears to be to wide for the pulleys. It just kind of sits above the pulley. Ordered 4 ft of 3/8" belt but will be needing another foot. The bs is turning into a project.
