Incra Jig

Rockler has the plastic Incra jig on sale for $30 this month (normally $60)

Aside from router table fence positioning, I'm trying to think of good uses for this accurate and repeatable positioning rack...

Seems like a solution in search of a problem...

Uses?

I have the Incra Ultra 16 that I use for dovetails and box joints. It is also good for accurately setting distances from the router bit, as you all probably know. It works very well for me. As for this jig I could see using it for:

1. Attached to BT3100 fence for micro adjustment.
2. Same for a bandsaw.
3. Same for a drill press.

Probably a lot more uses but I am Incra Jig challenged at this point. I am not suggesting anyone buy it, just suggesting some ideas for use. Its supposed to be very accurate.

$29.99 price is in the retail store flyer good thru mar 25.
Bandsaw and drill press the column would seem to get in the way.
Unless you offset it to the side.

Price Update

Thanks for the info on the price. I will see if my local Rockler carries it. I think this jig can only be adjusted in 1/32" increments. That may be a draw back in some situations.

I really appreciate this offer, but I will pass on it. Thank you for offering. If I were back in the States, I would probably take you up on it as there is no Rockler close by the Memphis area. My daughter sends things to me here but it usually takes her several weeks to "get around to it". I order things often when I am back there.
