    Jointer - good deal?

He's asking $125 for it. Worth taking a look at? Craftsman brand.

Simple answer, Nope! The beds are too short to be good for stock more than 2-3 feet. I see the 6", 4' bed jointers like the HF model show up on craigslist fairly often for about $100.

        Jointer - good deal?

I used one, with the same dimensions and set up for years and never had any problems with it. It depends on what type of work you are going to use it for as well as your space in your shop.

I turned one down just like that a few months ago - same jointer, same price. I've decided to hold out for a bigger, better jointer and make do with what I have until then. I knew that if I jumped on that model that I would soon wish that I'd waited - and I knew that justifying to LOML that I need A jointer will be much easier than convincing her that I need a better one a couple of years down the road.

          Good luck!
