This is more expensive than what has been discussed but I absolutely love my Jointech Smart Miter. It's a sled rather than a miter gauge but it has a zero clearance edge and the end stays puts when the miter is adjusted. Makes for very accurate and repeatable cuts. Downside is it costs around $200

      Thanks Todd
Correct on both accounts Todd! Sliding the rails was pretty easy. Remove the switch and unbolt the rail from the angle leaving the angle in place, slide the rail one bolt hole to the right (~ 10"), reinstall the bolts to the rail, lift and reset or replace the tape scale, and remount the switch...you'll need to drill new holes for that or do something creative for that. You'll have ~40" rip capacity. Clean the top of the rail good with alcohol or mineral spirits before reattaching the tape. Excluding time to remount the switch, it's about a 15 minute task.

I have the Incra 1000SE on my Delta Hybrid Cabinet Saw. I give it a 9 out of a 10.

Thanks for the reply, but guess what I got a little anxious this AM and checked it out myself. I ended up moving the rail about 20". The switch will bolt in the same holes as before, but only on the angle ( you need to use a nut). I drilled and tapped one hole for the tube. The other 3 lined up. I am now building the extension table and legs to replace the small one. Doing this will leave no rip to the left, but I don't use the left side for that anyway. Thanks for the inspiration.

Also, how do you remove the tape? Heat gun?

          thanks, Todd
