    I dunno... I'd probably get 2-3 of those 1" magnets from Lee Vally (the 30lb holding strength ones) and epoxied them into the bottom of that fence. Though I think that to hold them in, I'd have a steel plate attached to bottom of fence with screws.

      When I got my band saw, the first "accessory" I built for it was this single-point resaw guide.

      The only change I made was to replace the wing nut in the base runner with a plastic knob. The whole thing goes on and off in a couple seconds.

        That is very similar in concept to what I've done. Had my saw featured a standard miter slot, I probably would have done something similar.
