You Suck! If you are in Waxhaw NC you should go post on the classifieds in Woodnet. I know there are half a dozen or so guys over there in the Charlotte area. They might come buy from you.

Interesting title to the post. Reminds me of an old girl friend . . . .

But, it does appear that you have the bragging rights.

How much something like that cost?
And do you do it for other people too? Do you charge them money or a portion of the wood like pick of the litter kinda deal?

                        Resaw

Not sure just what you mean Uncle Hook, but it will cut within 1" of the deck. It will cut as thin as 1/16" veneer and post up to 24" X 24" X 20' and anything in between. I paid around $7500 for the mill, then I made lots of modifications to it. Yes I cut for others, but not for lumber. I have no room to store it all,

Is that a Norwood? What is the chain attached to the pickup used for? Is it for skidding the cants up on the rails?

Hi thiggy, Yes it's a Norwood, that chain is there as a safty, against the mill pulling to the log, this was the first time I have ever loaded that big of a log while the mill was up on the jacks. All went real well, once we got the combination down It never did pull the slack out of the chain, it looks tight but it's not. Here is a link to a post on my forum.

Why don't you call one of the tree companies, like Asplundh, to pick up trees?
