You could see it on the 45* cutting sled.

Take a clamp, remove the fixed jaw, weld angle iron, drill two holes and screw it on whatever you want.

and if you don't have a welder, a couple L brackets would work great too. And with no welder I'd use aluminum angle - easier to drill out.

Toggle clamps work well in similar applications -

on the downside they cost more and have possibly less range of adjustment.

On the upside, they take less work and they'll have a lower profile.
