More old tool score

Dug down in the box of stuff my dad gave me and found the square. Brass and what looks like rosewood holding a steel unmarked blade.

This was all owned by the same guy as the handplane.
Check out that carved face.
This might be a silly question but what is that thing? I assume some kind of carving knife.
Also the draw knife is huge. My FIL figured it was for making legs or the like. Any ideas?

Somebody on the Canadian forum suggested it's a straight razor. Now that I looked closer I think he may be right...OUCH!!

Talked to my dad today and he is pretty sure the carved-head tool is a hoof cleaner. No idea how old that one is.
Also found out that the pull shave is definitely a bark peeler (simpleton name for it) that my grandfather used to build a house in Prince George in 1951-1952. That said, my GG Grandfather that owned the plane and square was from New Brunswick and the pull shave was made in Saint John by John Fowler.
Going to look that one up.
