    Yard Sale Items

I went to a moving sale today they had a couple items I thought about buying. The 1st was a 10" SCMS Hitachi brand. The 2nd item was a brand new BT3100, put together and never used. He also had some nail guns, but He had already sold the common nailers. The SCMS is set up on a B & D folding workbench, it is $200.00, He wants the same for the BT3100, but I feel sure I can talk him down. I don't need anothe saw, I'm happy with mine, Just talking to myself, wondering about the Hitachi. Bill

If the Hitachi was in good shape and a newer model I would be all over that.

Not sure if my hitachi is an older or newer one but it's a great little SCMS. I paid $170 and that was on the low side. It's a quality tool, for 200 with a stand it's a pretty decent deal.

I used to have a 10" Hitachi CMS, great saw, was very smooth and accurate. It went bye bye off a flatbed truck on the freeway fifteen years ago. I'm still p'd off.
