    Best tool to cut hardboard

I need to cut two small 8.5"x5.5" pieces of 1/8" hardboard. With what (power or hand tool, just need two pieces) and how would you cut it for the cleanest edge? Or is just a matter of post-cut cleanup with sandpaper? Thx for helping a newbie that hasn't worked with hardboard before.

I've always cut it with a TS and gotten good results.

              cutting hardboard

darrelcraig, like the others have said TS works great, even bandsaw.
a word of caution before cutting...check to see if the hardboard could slide
underneath rip fence/miter gauge on either saw, if so you may need to install an auxillary fence that that prevents this from happening....makes for easier
and safer more controlled cutting possible.I always draw the cutting lines
for the size I need for finished piece, cut slightly to the waste side of that line and sand to final finished size(drawn lines) on the disc/belt sanding machine. My .02 worth...eezlock
