    Wilton Scroll Saw

I was at one of the local hardware discounter/junk dealer .. . and found a Wilton scroll saw for $69.00. It is new, but out of box, has all the manuals and hardware, but is missing the arm lamp . . . . is this a good deal and is this a saw worth having. The only scroll saw in my shop is an OLD dremel that vibrates, jerks, and is almost impossible to find blades for.

Dennis I can't help on this, as I have used several brands, but not a Wilton. Bill

I thought that Wilton was part of the WMH Tool group. These are the people that do JET and Powermatic. Now I am not saying this tool is bad or good but this will give you a starting place for some research.

        Wilton scroll saw...

I haven't used their scroll saw...but I have their 10" benchtop drill press,
and a machinist vise, both are very well made and work better than expected. If their scroll saw is the same quality as their other tools, you can't lose if buy it. Wilton tools are very well made IMHO. Their drill press
has handled everything I've thrown at it ,never bogged down and is always ready for more! eezlock

I also have no experience with the scroll saw, but I did have their mini lathe and loved it. I think Wilton is WMH's lowest line of tools but even at that, its much better than some others top line.
