Yes they did, about 4 years ago the first of their 'large' cordless kits included the miter saw on a plastic rolling cart, the cart housed the drill, recip, circ, flashlight, and spiral tool as well as bits and blades. The lid on this little cart is attached to the miter saw and flips over to use/store the saw.
My Dad got one of these kits, it's actually a really slick little setup, I have no idea why they did away with it.If it ain't broke.. don't fix it!!!... but you can always 'hop it up'

They also had a cordless miter saw which they introduced just over a year ago. It sold as a separate unit and was priced around $150 or so. While briefly popular, it appeared to not have enough battery power to last long. It was discontinued and closed out in early fall, 2005.

One Ok little cms saw
I purchased this saw from the home boys when it was $99 bcuse I own all of their 18 volt stuff. But mostly for the portability becuse I had to do some window replacements in a loft area and it was a delight to cut the trim right next to the windows not the up/down a ladder 10 times. BTW you do need a fully charged battery and a fresh sharp carbide 40 tooth blade. If "I" had designed this saw I would have made a dual battery port for a longer run time. Ryobi should also offer a larger capacity battery (Black & Decker now offers a Silver line 18 volt battery with 50 % more capacity for only $10 bucks more at lowes however the firestorm battery is incompatible construction with ryobi) Also when the heck is there going to be a 18 volt Radio????Comment

I like mine
I got one about a year ago and like it. It's no workhorse, but for cutting up some trim or some 1x stock, it works great for me. It is the only CMS in my shop.Comment

I found one in a pawn shop about 3 years ago, got it, another drill, flashlight, and 1 battery and charger for $50.00. I use mine quite a bit, and like it. Bill5 OUT OF 4 PEOPLE DON'T UNDERSTAND FRACTIONS.Comment
