    Shear angle flush trim bit

I see MLCS have these new bits. Do they cut smoother than the regular flush trim 2-flute and 3-flute bits?
I want to go ahead and try one of them, but just checking if you guys ever use them or have an opinion on them.

I have one, it cuts cleaner than regular flush trim bit, but falls far short of a spiral cutter. The spiral flush trim is certainly the best.

Uh, is this just a regular spiral bit used for flush trimming, or a special one with a bearing for pattern following? If the latter, got a link?

It's a spiral flush trim. A spiral bit with a bearing for pattern work.

Wow, the woodcraft 1/8" carbide spiral with brass bearing - I'll bet you look crosswise at that, it'll break, especially if you put any side pressure on the that bearing/ lever arm.

I spent the $$$ for a pair of Whiteside's. 1/2" and 1/4". well worth it!
