    Crown Stapler Uses?

I recently purchased a PC pancake air compressor from Amazon. It came with a brad nailer and a 1" crown stapler. I am pretty sure I will get some use out of the brad nailer, but I am not sure what I would use the stapler for. I am trying to decide if I should keep the stapler, or sell it to get money for other tools I am more likely to use.

    Advice?

    Thanks,
    Scott

I imagine it could be used for upholstering or for attaching cleats in cabinet work.

    Thanks,
    Phil

Wide crown (1/2") or Narrow crown (1/4")?

wide is good for upholstry and tacking things
Narrow is good for putting up sheet stuff like pegboard and masonite
      and siding.

If your only tool is a hammer, you tend to treat all problems as if they were nails.

I use my PC narrow crown stapler to pin my cabinet parts together, make any aligning adjustments then screw the parts together. It's like a third hand, since the 1" staples aren't strong it's easy to tap the parts with a mallet to align it b4 screwing or nailing it together. Of course I do this where it won't be visible on the finish product/cabinet. Then I use 1/2" staple to staple the 1/4" backs to the cabinets. I got my PC compressor w/regulator, finish nailer, brad nailer, stapler & 25' hose from HD for $155. last year. HD had a promotion if you open a commercial charge account they gave 50% off any power tool or combination of power tools up to $300.00 off total on your 1st purchase with the charge card.
