Another update: after placing an order for the new guard on their website, I was concerned that I did not receive any confirmation email. I called a couple days later to check, at the 800 number provided, it took a bit of time get e rep answer, and it my order was not showing in the system - so I re-did the order over the phone - they said I'll be getting it within 2-3 weeks.
While on the phone with them, I also requested a copy of the manual which they will send separately.
