Dumb Electrical Question - Auto Gate DC

I have PSI Long Ranger I am going to install this weekend. My DC will be connected to it. This is the model that is activated by opening the gates.
Ok, so there are two posts (relay terminals) on top of the unit and I connect a black wire and red wire. Along the length I splice wire to run to gates. However at the end should I simply connect the end to the last gate ? Or should I splice last gate in and have wire left over on the end? Would I need to wire the two ends together to make the relay loop?

I hope this makes sense though I doubt it does!

You will be wiring the switches in PARALLEL, as opposed to in SERIES. This means that a pair of wires (called a "buss") runs in a continuous path from your DC switch to all your gate switches. Each switch will be connected, one lead to one wire on the buss, and the other lead to the other wire on the buss. Whenever ANY gate is open, its switch closes, and activates the DC. Two gates open at a time makes no difference, as all you're doing is making a second connection between the same two wires (the buss). The last switch on the line simply connects to the ends of the buss. There is no need to continue the buss wires beyond that point, unless you plan to add more switches later. DO NOT tie the ends of the buss wires together, or your DC will never turn off.
...eight, nine, TEN! Yep! Still got all my fingers!

Thanks. Makes plenty of sense. Two more Dumb Questions :

      First, just noticed the "For use with Woodworking Dust Collectors not to exceed 1 - 1/2 HP" . I have 2 HP collector . . . . . thoughts/?

Second, I think I want to run the end of the line back to my wall and install a manual switch at the end. What type of switch would I use?
