Why is one topic's post still showing as "UnRead?

I have watched on topic (Clamping the Rip Fence on the 21829) since it was posted Earlier this week, but since Thursday or Friday morning, it has shown in bold as unread on my browser (Safari on Mac with 26.4.1).

Thanks for your help. This is not an immense problem, but one that is there - for me,

I've seen this before. Also showing unread for me same post. It happened after I approved the last response.

Still happening on that same post. I think it has something to do with the comment being the last entry. Happened on other threads, and then went away, but I wasn't aware why. Could test the theory, though.

Just posted on that thread, and it no longer shows as unread for me.

I added a comment to D_meister last post, but didn't replicate the problem. I suspect a bug somewhere having to do with last post and commenting but I don't know the exact sequence that causes it.

Perhaps, it has to do with moderator approving a last comment made by a newbie. I think it happened after I approved his comment.

Just read the thread and the “unread” marker disappeared. 11th gen iPad on v.26.4.2 and FireFox as the browser.
