    Cutting Board Pics

In HTML it is written like this:

    <a href="http://www.bt3central.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=98">BT3 Central</a>

But I don't know how you would code it in Snitz (the forum software.) [?] Maybe this will lead you in the right direction.

I've tried it oodles of ways. I'm no Windtalker, but I think the problem may lie in the code tags. [?]

Here is the forum code to perform that. (In order for it to show up, I replaced [ and ] with { and })

Sam - given this question and one I posted about code tags in 'sigs' (suggesting marking the codes in the FAQ that worked in the 'sig'), perhaps you could post the definitive reply regarding what works in both thread bodies and sigs and what doesn't work in sigs.

gugie (Lee, et al) - this works:

[xxx="actual URL to link to"]This posting[/xxx] -- substitute 'url' for 'xxx' ... as indicated in the FAQ .

Well, what I don't understand is why I didn't try that way in one of my oodles of testing.

that's probably right - it doesn't like punc chars in the names.

Yep, Removed the # and resized them so they weren't so huge.

Thanks, I would never had thought of that.

I guess I am alot slow, Mudder. How did you edit the file name to delete the "#" and resize the picture? I still can't get it to work.

                            Bob
I went to your profile and downloaded the pics to my local drive (my own hard drive) From there I single clicked on the picture and hit the "F2" key (that is the edit key) or you can right click and choose "rename", from there I just edited out the # and saved the pic. I opened each picture in microsoft photo editor (I believe it comes with XP) and chose the image dropdown bot and clicked resize. A box opened and I just resized it to 25% of origional, saved them and uploaded.

Not to confuse the issue but I could have used the "save as" feature in photo editor and renamed it that way. I first changed the names and uploaded and found that they were huge pics so I resized them and uploaded again.
