    Unread posts?

I checked the forum this morning and nearly every thread I see has the link as a red button--new post in the thread. I know I've read all of these and there are no new posts/threads. What happened? I am logged in. I also logged out and logged back in with the same result. I'm seeing this on my phone and my desktop computer.

    Paul,

I'm not seeing that on my sign-in. Wonder what's going on?

Take that back, I'm not seeing if I log directly into the current forum thread (my normal entry), but if I go to "home", the red buttons are showing up there on things I haven't read today.

This is the result of some of the prework for the vb5 upgrade. In order for the new posts functionality to work I had to make a change to how posts are marked as read.

Also, the 'View First Unread' button doesn't work.

Since all the threads are essentially unread, until you have gone back into a thread and it is marked as read with the new method, that is correct. It works for all subsequent posts once you have read a thread since the change.

Is there a "Mark All Posts as Read" function like there is for some mail readers?

In the menu bar from either the home page or the forums page select Forum Actions -> Mark Forums Read. That should do the trick.

                  Thanks. That did it.
